A few from a weekend trip to Durham and Raleigh, NC. I was there for a funeral, and I had visions of capturing all the extended family who were together for the first time in a decade, but when it came down to it, I got pretty cold feet. Felt intrusive to have a camera out at the wake, so I took maybe 4 discrete pictures of people and then reverted to just catching up with people. Probably for the best, though people really did want me to somehow magically capture everything that was happening, without being visible or intruding in any way. It eluded me, let's just say. So most of the shots I got were of the rest of the trip.
I was reminded all over again how good the X100 is at capturing everyday. So small, quiet, and capable.
Nothing revolutionary here, just some good moments I was happy to grab.
