Well I'm probably about 5 or 6 feet above street level at that point, so sometimes when you are higher and someone else in the near distant it gives you that illusion

LOL - the pop-up flash at telephoto zoom.
I recommend landmarks and churches to witness this kind of behaviour frequently; sometimes it's paired with shrieked instructions to a spouse parked a couple of dozen meters away; the young lady in the image doesn't seem to do this, thankfully. Nothing against fill-in flash (in moderation and when it's advantageous), but this way ... urgh.

I recall a similar thread at mu-43.com, but my search didn't find one here. A local press photographer was at our facility to document a visiting DC-3. I took advantage of the opportunity to document both. In the last image, I was hanging out of the cockpit window with my X-T1, when the fellow spotted me and began snapping away.
