Several Swan Geese (Anser Cygnoides), a domesticated Asian species which is now found in North America.
These three were swimming around Agate Lake, a man-made reservoir lake, in southern Oregon.

I was shooting some ducks on the water at 1/500 and these guys flew by too quick to think about changing shutter speed. Was happy some of them came out in focus with the pan.

Came out way better than I expected for a near 1:1 crop at iso 6400 in really overcast skies. This was sitting on a post at the edge of my yard and flew off as soon as I cracked open the door.

Just next to Lake Ewana, outside of Klamath Falls, Oregon, there are several large trees which serve as roosting spots for flocks of Night Herons. They are rather prehistoric looking birds. I was lucky enough to surprise these two Night Herons having a slight argument over who gets to sit on which branch.
