Not really a macro lens but the close focus of the Olympus 12-40mm does very nicely (and to be honest, I find the 12-40mm a nicer lens to use than the Olympus 60mm f/2.8 macro). These little guys measure about 8mm (1/3rd inch) and were enjoying a morning on the beach...
These were RAW processed. Although the E-M5 does a superb job with OOC JPG's I find I have more room for manoeuvre when contrast is difficult. Also gradients in colour are easier to keep under control.
I bought it mainly for photographing concerts and with a folk festival at the end of February and the local Jazz festival in June, this lens is going to get a good workout.
