Fuji X-T1 on Peddocks Island

KillRamsey

Hall of Famer
Location
Hood River, OR
Name
Kyle
Went camping in the Boston Harbor on Peddocks, site of many early 20th century military ruins AND a hilltop campsite with 6 yurts (round fabric-covered huts with 2 sets of bunk beds). Lots more on Flickr, of course. Here are a few I liked...

Georges Island stopover on the way out, inside a fort from 1847:

Yurts at night:

Happy kiddos (we had 4 or 5 different families who new each other all there at the same time):

Inside a tunnel system you go through to reach a sunken mortar placement site:

Anywho.

That is a wonderful series indeed. I love them all but if I have to choose one, it will be probably the last one because it makes me curious what's in there. And I love the composition!

I finally got Raw Therapee to work (newest version suddenly will NOT find any jpg's. had to revert to an odler thumb drive, disable Auto Update before it could catch the same disease). Thinking of making an album of just b&w Fort shots of the military ruins. I love some of those shots.
