Tanner finally deigned to pose for me. Leica M8, Voigtlander 28mm Ultron f/1.9 wide open (so it's a tidge soft because I wasn't right on). Did some auto color correction that isn't perfect, but she'll never know.
The late Herman got senile towards the end and couldn't stop wandering continually unless someone helped him stay still and get some rest. My son had a rest whilst helping herman rest.
Taken with an Olympus E-P1 and Voigtlander 25mm f/0.95 lens
Here is another taken with my Nikon D90. I am using my newly acquired Nissin Di622 flash angled up at 45 degrees with the wide angle diffuser and bounce card together with my Nissin Di466 Four Thirds flash as a slave and on the side to provide fill lighting.
Penny, I'm impressed by Tiger's acquiescence to that leash! He must be a very good natured fellow.
Pavel, thank you for both your He and your She cat photos! He cat reminds me of the male lion...lying around waiting for the kill... And She, well, she is so delicate and pretty!
I'm not sure which version I like "better". I will say that in the color version his left eye (on our right) really reminds me of Sauron's Lidless Eye! Great close ups, both of 'em!
Kris has enjoyed his time on the Internet and his presence will remain for many years. Unfortunately, Kris had to purchase a one-way ticket to cat heaven yesterday, having used all of his 9 lives.
Awww, I'm sorry to hear about Kris. He's had the look of an elderly cat for some time in your pics but it's always a blow when you lose a pet. He certainly was a great character and you're going to miss him Hopefully he didn't suffer too much after his accident.
