Uni WB

I never really got the point of Uni WB, until today when I found this article
GUILLERMO LUIJK >> TUTORIALS >> UNIWB. MAKE CAMERA DISPLAY RELIABLE

The short version (at least as I understood it) is that White balance settings on our cameras push the Red, Green and/or Blue channels, so if we're trying to expose to the right with a normal live histogram we can easily end up blowing out a channel even though the histogram looks ok.

Setting the UniWB is basicly setting the camera to a "neutral" white balance where the channels are exposure balanced, so you can count on the live histogram/highlight blinkies.

Not sure I'll ever end up using it, but it's a neat idea :)

Setting it is quite easy on most cameras since you just fill the frame with the image provided in the article and set white balance.
