Hi everyone from DownUnderDog, in Australia.
Recently I purchased an LX-7 to use on an overseas trip. I desided to take only one camera, and leave all my mu-43 gear home.
After reading Camera Labs review I bought an LX-7. I made what I think was the correct choice. The camera was around my neck all day most days and I enjoyed using it immensely.
The only regret I had was not having a lens hood. The controls were good to use. How about having an aperture dial on the lens - just great!
I'm posting the first of many photos I took over three weeks. I hope you enjoy them. Feel free to comment. please note these are jpegs, I took raw as well but the jpegs were outstanding
This was a big test for the camera. 800ISO and hand held. Having a maximum aperture of f1.4 was great.
The camera was even good for street shooting.
Wide angle shot of the old town at Toledo, Spain.
Taken from the open top deck of a tourist bus in Madrid, Spain.
Another from the bus. This time on the move.
Cathedral Spire, Toledo, Spain.
Almost no corrections to this image. Great little camera.
I was so pleased the camera IQ handled the lighting of this shot. I used the color setting "Vivid" and was very pleased, good on most shots except portraits.
Street scene in old Toledo.
More street shooting on this one titled Who is looking after you?"
Well I will post more as time permits, but I hope this bring some pleasure to your day , as posting them did for me.
Cheers
DUD
