It's a beautiful day

... to be stuck in peak hour traffic.

They look good to me - I'm guessing it's the Leica look, in large part. I feel they have a bit of a polaroid hue, as well. Lookin' great to me on my MacBook Pro.

I tweaked the colours a little in post but even before tweaking I do notice a discernible difference when I set the M8 to Lens Detection 'Off', compared with 'On + UV/IR'. The colours seem a bit more flat when it's off. When it's on+uv/ir, the colours seem to come to life a bit more.

Wow, you had enough time to get out your camera and take a shot. Must have been a long light.

1) There's always time during peak hour gridlock.

2) I'm sorry to report that my camera was in its case still slung over my shoulder while I was driving. It almost never leaves my side these days. My girlfriend and I were at the shopping mall yesterday, I left my camera in the car because photography is not allowed in the mall. I told her I felt naked without my camera. She lamented that her boyfriend was turning into a photography nerd.

Ya that's a bit extreme. Then again, there have been a couple of times I wished I had my Camera handy.

The more you have it with you, the better. This is one of the reasons I like a smallish camera - and still, even with my LX5, I don't always have it with me much to my chagrin and loss of some good opportunities.
