How did it get to April? I don't know how March was for you guys but for me, not much really happened. The weather was pants (not the trouser variety) and my enthusiasm to go out and shoot pictures was non existent. I made a last dash effort on Friday to shoot some pictures while I was en route to the Russian embassy but the whole adventure only ended up in making me grumpy! I've yet to look to see if I snapped anything worthwhile ... I'm almost scared to look. I was so grumpy that day. I don't know why. It was a rare day in Edinburgh when the sun was actually shining!

Anyway, hopefully you guys have been more successful and have shot a favourite image for the month of March. Please share your one favourite picture from March 2013.

maybe this one ...

Hello from not-so-sunny Leith. Actually today was quite nice, but I couldn't get out due to a backlog of housework!

Had to be one of the RX1 shots. Could have been one of the extreme low light shots, but I really like this shot a lot - one of my favorite recent people shots...

Fantastic expression - Would love to see the original unprocessed image of this to get a better feel of the RX1

It had to be weather related!

Not too many to choose from this month (more weather related complaints), so here's one from one of our better days, although about 15 miles to the north people were getting a battering underneath that large shower cloud (sufficient hail to cause the temporary closure of one of two major roads connecting us to the rest of the country)

I managed to go shooting exactly twice in the entire month of March, both times on the first weekend of the month (March 2nd and 3rd), which means that as of tomorrow, I will have gone an entire month without shooting. Not happy about this.

In any event, I do not have much to choose from, but I rather like this one:

Here you go - raw file opened in Lightroom without any adjustments. Doesn't look like much but there's a LOT lurking in the RX1 files...

Thanks Ray

Would you mind if I ran this through my own method to see what I could make of it ? I doubt it will pop like yours but I'd like to have a go.

@ Ray
Man, you took that image a long way ... I think I may have left that shot unprocessed, just walked away. Good job of seeing and unlocking all that potential.
