It's not a Nikon P510, Canon SX50, Fuji HS50EXR.

It's also not a Panny LX7 nor a Pentax K-01. ;)

It's possible we have a dark horse in the superzoom race.

Serious question, Chris: How do you find superzooms hand held at 1000mm?

So far, all of them are easily enough hand held for wildlife shooting that I'm more concerned about subject movement than I am with camera movement. I'd say that 1/200s shutter is easily doable @ 1000mm while using the EVF.

I'll be sure to bring my current superzoom to our get-together on 5/4!

Fuji X-S1? No, that would be too short. One of the other Fujis then? I know some of them have ridiculously long zooms.

Sue, you're the WINNER!!!

It's a Fuji SL1000. I've only taken a couple pics with it, but so far I'm impressed. Of the superzooms I've auditioned recently, only the Fuji HS50 handles better.

Just a quick aside from the guessing game to say how great it is to see you Chris!:friends: I don't know if you've been "back" for a month or two or what... I'm sorry to say that I have been a bit of a stranger here myself.

I know you've been one busy lady... life came crashing down on me for a while, but all's well that (mostly) ends well! :D
