Olympus FINALLY! VF-2 for my XZ-1

WTF is it with all these letters and numbers, eh? Oh well. Now, an even better look for my XZ, and can shoot whenever, wherever at whichever angle. Happy. Will likely love the camera even more.

And, as a matter of curiosity... is the VF-2 upwards compatible with the later PEN cameras?

Sue, I wondered how long it would be until you got one. Great addition to your kit, how soon before the m43 camera arrives in your collection?

Michael, I've been hankering for one for a year. I don't think it will be that long before m43, I've gone a bit cold on getting a Nikon 1 V1 nowits getting so hard to find one, and the V2 is nearly as and in some cases more expensive than m43... the only decision I need to be making is... which one... Did I say I didnt have GAS? I lied. Mostly to myself :)

I love the VF-2 on the XZ-1 and after selling some of my gear to upgrade to the OM-D, I still hang on to my VF-2. The VF-2 viewfinder is just as good as the built in viewfinder on the OM-D and I'm saving my pennies to get an XZ-2 which accepts the VF-2 and will make an excellent second camera for carrying to places I wouldn't want to take the OM-D.

I can't (never say can't) see myself giving up my XZ-1 at all, thats why I caved and bought the VF. I love the CCD sensor, I love the colours, I love the flexibility of the camera generally, it has constantly surprised and delighted me since I bought it.

Who'd have thought you could do starbursts with an XZ... I've only done it so far with Pentax Primes, and failed with every other camera except the GRDIII
