Yellowstone, Wyoming

Student for life
July is not really a great month for visiting Yellowstone but friends of us were bound to this month. Some shots (some also posted at fujixspot). If you say Yellowstone, you say Geysers. Good ol’ reliable Old Faithful but also many colorful basins.

Yellowstone is a very special place. I was lucky to live 3 hrs away from there for 1.5 years. That was the time I switched from film camera to Olympus P&S (10 years ago). I would like to visit again and see those beautiful colors and nature that you captured beautifully...

That must have been awesome, to live by there!!

The first & Last hold up well against the Peter Elfes shots - both look like fly over shots

on others like no 6 I think a bit of cropping off top background would be better - more aerial like

I know it's all been shot already, but I want to shoot it myself. Nice ones.

Very true indeed. Isn't that the essence of why we take photos on our journeys? Everything has been shot already, but photos are connected to emotions-meaning-memories if we do it ourselves. Thanks for triggering an insight!
