Show best of the month - September 2013

Lots to pick from, it's been a heavily maritime themed month so I'll stick with that trend, a shot I would call "Departing into a grey dawn"

There's a few stunners in this thread already!
It would be interesting to have everyone nominate their favourite September picture by somebody else, there have been so many fabulous photos this last month.
You're the best
No, YOU're the best... boak. :drinks:

Your best, your favourite, the only one you shot ... whatever it is, its time to post your single picture for September 2013.

Hope it was a good month for you all.

Thank you for starting this thread. I'm better at accumulating stuff than at sorting it, and I have the attention span of a gnat, so if I haven't taken a decent photo in the last 6 hours, I feel like a failure. I just looked through my September compact photos and I have a dozen contenders for a favorite, and I feel like a success! I'll actually post one a bit later when I make up my mind.

The photographer in me says, "cool!" The gardener says "Kill them! Kill them with fire!" (Funny, I know that's a quote, but I don't know what from.)

I can see why, it's a keeper.
Ruby - I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I thought it was a field of white flowers - actually it was squillions of snails. I might have an example of the sheer biomass somewhere to show you
