Went for a walk earlier around a large, beautiful man-made lake here in Central Oregon - Tumalo Reservoir - which is home to bald eagles, redtail hawks, kingfishers, coots, multiple varieties of ducks, and too many other varieties of waterfowl to name. In places it becomes very alive with the songs and sounds and calls of different birds; in other places, and at other moments, silence reigns. This was one of those places.
Oops. 'Thought I posted over on this thread a few moments ago. 'Guess not. From this morning. The season is pretty much ended up here in northern Vermont. 'Still some images to be had.
