I have 2 V1 body's. I recently bought a Fuji ex1 just for a little better low light quality. Not really requiring 3 cameras I put the newer V1 up for sale. Trouble is I can't let it go ! It's lovely.
It's a fast and effective bit of kit . Dead easy to use, does everything I want it to do and more.
There are things I'd like to change but I'll live with them.
This is a first for me. Not being able to let a camera go. It's brilliant . So I think one of my V1's will be sharing bag space with my ex1.
And you never know, the V3 might be an equally
Brilliant camera! (With its own faults)

LOL! I'm like that with nearly all my cameras. I think I want to sell, put them on gumtree, then change my mind. I *might* want to use them. This has all happened, of course, because I did sell the one camera I should not have, my K200D. Damn it was a magnificent bit of kit, I really bonded with it (Ok, perhaps it wasn't the best camera around, but it was my first DSLR and I seemed to click with it, pun not intended)... I've never been as happy with any DSLR since then. So every time I start thinking about selling, I'm thinking I'll regret it. so I don't.

I keep thinking about selling my Pentax gear but I just can't - at least not yet. When I want or need an APS-C DSLR with a DA Limited prime on it, I really want or need it. My K200D is now in the possession of my niece, so at least it's in the family.

The only part of the process I have second thoughts is deciding to sell something in the first place. I find that once I've sold something, packaged it up, and sent it, it's very quickly forgotten about because there's always a willing replacement.

I'm still holding on to my 20d in hopes to train a family member in manual exposure settings. Kind of amazing to go back and see how tiny the screen is. Kind of amazing that it will be ten years old next year.

The one camera that I had trouble selling was the Panasonic LX5. I lost sleep and fretted about it for days before finally selling it. I let the RX100 go cheerfully enough. I haven't yet bonded with my Ricoh GR, and the X100 hasn't been seeing any action (but then I'd never sell that camera).

There are two things I've regretted selling......both from the 70's. My Olympus OM-1 and my 1972 Norton Commando. However, I still ride(recently sold an R1150GS with over 85,000 miles), still shoot(photos), and keep trying to get better at both.

Well, I've ordered my 18.5mm for the Nikon 1s. I decided to get it locally at a higher price so I could also have the local 2 year warranty and backup at the local camera store who have all fallen for the waterproof 1. They took it too the beach, apparently, and loved its performance. As a result they are all looking more carefully at Nikon 1, overall. Starting to keep stock which they had stopped doing, I had to buy my cameras from other places. Now, I won't have to :)
