If you could spend a day with any photographer, past or present, who would it be and why?

I don't think I can pick just one. How about spending half the time with Chim AKA David Seymour and the other half with Robert Capa - as long as I know I wouldn't be wounded or shot, in all honesty...because I know there would be many war time moments.

Robert Capa: Magnum Photos Photographer Portfolio and David Seymour AKA Chim: Magnum Photos Photographer Portfolio

If you don't know Magnum, it's a superb place to look at photographs.

My sweetie. She occasionally takes pics with her P&S, and I'd rather spend the day with her than any person, ever.

Chris,

You have demonstrated that there is at least one smart person in the group!:D

(Here's a guy who is going to get something GOOD for Christmas . . . a bushel basket of kisses, maybe . . . )

Cheers, Jock

Paul Caponigro or Edward Weston. Or Minor White. It's hard to choose.

Did I mention Paul Strand, Dorothea Lange, or Walker Evans? And I probably learned more technically from Ansel Adams' series, especially The Negative than just about anything.

Could I have a week, one day with each of the above??
