Panasonic GM1 holiday lights

My only holiday season photo for 2013 with the Panasonic GM1. I shot this same scene a year ago with the iPhone4s, and the differences are instructive. The iPhone4s perspective is fixed at ~35 mm in 135 terms, while I captured a wider scene here with the GM1 kit lens at 24 mm effective focal length. The iPhone4s image was considerably noisier, but the detail was comparable if not exactly equal to the GM1. f3.5, 1/2 second handheld (braced against car), ISO 200.

I got a heavy duty wrist strap, the kind that don't slide off, and mostly I can manage it one-handed until I need to get a shot that requires more care (low shutter speed etc.) Then if I don't want it in hand, put into small bag. With the strap on the right, I grip the camera (kit lens) with thumb on 'patch' at rear-top-right, and 3 fingers on front. The thumb and fingers don't block anything, and if it slips anyway, the strap will catch it securely.
