Wonderful. Thanks for the link. The Guardian photos are often a very enjoyable part of my morning, which usually begins with coffee, and online news - The Guardian and Libération being the two "musts". And Serious Compacts bien sûr.

OOPS! I just noticed it was BBC.

Now the Guardian are connect with the Snowden affair - I do not generally support what their Editor, (Alan Rusbridger), does and particularly how he and Glenn Greewald did what they did - but that's politics and we have to keep off the subject in this Forum.

I'm generally an easy going democratic kind of guy but was not happy - but these days I stick to bird watching, travel, photography and eating chocolate biscuits

Nice technique Bill, get your political comment in first then make sure no-one can answer by reminding us it's a no politics forum!
You're an old rascal you are ... :)

Good afternoon Paul - good to hear from you

long in the tooth - well not so long these days as I had a back molar out last week!!!

England also beat the Aussies today, but we are not allow to talk about sport

as someone said on TMS today "It looks like England with beat Australia at cricket and Man Utd will sign a good player - please don't wake me up"

TMS = Test Match Special for the unconverted, (i.e. the other side of the Pond)

Discussing the recent state of English cricket is definitely off limits for me, Bill ...

Hmm you're a Nikon man aren't you? I've just acquired an f2 photomic for nothing. Got any old nonAI glass you don't want?
