For all you film camera buffs

OK, call me sentimental but I've always liked this song and Elton John - especially in Tumbleweed Connection... I can't imagine having a camera stuck in my face like that, though at first glance I thought - Ooo, it's the new Fuji XT1!;) Really those photographers are quite obnoxious...a very strange film, Bill.

he's a strange man - never liked his hair!!

A couple of nice Nikon F's in there, a Hassleblad, (I never could afford one), and a Leica

Did I miss something or wasn't there much film being wound on, especially the LF cameras. At least none of them were worrying about Auto-ISO (or would it have been auto-ASA in those days).

Shhhh! ...........Don't mention the hair, BB - he gets upset!

I never was a huge Elton fan, I liked my music more raw and rocky - and American sometimes. I was rather a big Doobie Brothers fan back in the day, then as i mellowed got in the Eagles who I still like a lot, along with the halfy half UK / USA Fleetwood Mac post Peter Greens' UK version. Lynsey Buckingham was one of the most underrated guitarists around IMO, not technically brilliant but I loved his style.

The Eagles are playing several dates in the UK in June and a mate's sons have bought him two tickets to go the show in Manchester for his 60th birthday - he asked me to go with him but I'll not be here as we'll be somewhere in France on our roadtrip. Gutted really as they're one band I've never seen live!

That was one of his tamer ensembles :D.. and he's so young. But those photographers in my fact, that would bother me. That one guy must have been shooting his feet because Elton grinned after and the photographer did too. Absurd-- but I do like Elton John.
