Samsung to launch the NX mini, the world smallest interchangeable system camera? - mirrorlessrumors

From an anonymous source:

Yesterday I had my hands on Samsung NX mini. It will be definitely the smallest interchangeable lens camera currently on the market. It will feature:
- 1 inch BSI CMOS sensor 20.2MPx (probably the same as Sony RX10 / RX100M2)
- no build in flash
- menu doesn't look like android at all
- now mount and 3 lenses (2 wide angle primes + kit)
- 180 degrees tilt screen (touch screen)
- electronic shutter 1/6000s
- will be available in: pink, mint, white, leather like brown and black color

From what i heard it will be launched within a month

More on mini, look at the body size, perfect selfie camera:)

20 million pixels a "back-illuminated CMOS which appears to be the same used by the Sony RX100II.
Has a new sort of mini NX mount and comes with two lenses: 9mm and a 9-27mm lens
1/16000s maximum shutter speed
3 "LCD IPS Screen swiveling Like MV800
Built-in flash
22fps continuous shooting
ISO 160-12800
1080p/30p video capabilities
Micro SD
Slim
Super continuous shooting capability

NXF1 thickness is less than 35mm, and the 9mm lens is only 12mm thick.

Prime 9mm x 2,7 ~ 24,3mm (in 35mm)
Zoom 9-27 x 2.7 ~ 24.3 - 72.9mm (in 35mm)

It will be interesting to see how fast 9mm will be. So who is going to make a decent 1" sensor compact camera w/ Canon g1x II type lens now that another company other then Sony has the same sensor? Nikon has the same size sensor but it hasn't used it in any compact either.

I don't think this is the Sony sensor in the RX10/RX100. It looks more like an upgraded version of Aptina's 14MP sensor in the NIkon V2. Here are my thoughts on the sensor and the camera/zoom lens.

White color this time:)

Okay Its getting more interesting.
Found out It has NFC so you can transfer photos by touching It to an other NFC enabled device, like a smartphone or tablet.
Come on Guys nobody has posted Its best feature. It has wink mode.
Turn the screen up to face you, wink and It automatically takes your Picture. Instant selfie. :D

That is the 1st Samsung camera that I have thought ...... WOW a decent looking compact interchangeable system camera. If they claim is the worlds smallest then it will have to be smaller than the Q. Good for samsung for putting in a 1" sensor!

Hopefully this will also push Nikon to release new lenses for the Nikon 1 system. Its really good to see another player in the 1" milc market.
Milc anyone? :D
Sorry bad joke. I couldnt resist.
Im not sure this is the smallest but It looks like the thinest in the market. Either way im looking foward to a full review.
