I've had a credit on Amazon.com since Christmas and I've deliberated about this ever since. I thought about a Panasonic GM1 because it's so cool and would work with all of my micro four-thirds lenses. A Sony RX100 was also considered, since it's so pocketable. But so is the Ricoh. I liked the idea of trying something different and I've enjoyed the results others have been getting with this camera. So when I finally dropped in at B&H Photo (it's great having them only minutes from where I work) and actually played with the GR for a while, I was hooked. I placed my order this morning. We'll see how much use the Fuji X10 and XF1 get in the months ahead. Currently the XF1 is the only truly pocketable camera that I have. Okay! That's it! I'm done! I plan no other camera acquisitions this year and anything purchased after that must replace something that I already have. That means selling off excess inventory. I made that vow last year and actually kept to it.
