Looks like they re-used the big white bunnies from Sydney's VIVID festival (I'm sure like the big yellow duck they get used everywhere). I'd never heard of Dark MOFO till now. I might not want to be saying Dark MoFo around back lanes and alleys to much though.

well finally after much Googling (and accidentally seeing a bunch of nude people standing on a beach......why do hippies always feel the need to shed their clothes?) I finally find out that MOFO is short for "Museum of Old and New Art: Festival Of Music and Art"

I googled Dark MOFO and discovered a case where Google was remarkably unhelpful. It took me so long to figure it out I missed the solstice, summer in our case. We also need a naked smilie. Get on that, Luke.

Dark Mofo is just a winter arts/culture festival (top hit on google?) thats currently running in Hobart. 'FOMA' is the summer version, both of which are run by the Museum of Old and New Art (MONA - worth googling in itself).

For the most part it's pretty tame, although they do have a nude swim in 6deg water. It's quite popular actually :)
