Sports Well - This Was A Learning Experience!

What sort of focus method were you using? I've found, with the little bit of action shooting I've done with the Df that I use back button focus for everything and I use the 9-point grouping of focus points in the center. I've gotten some decent bird in flight photos that way as well as less challenging stuff.

These shots look great, BTW, but if you're having problems with focus tracking, just suggesting...

Ray,
Single point continuous within the center group. Once I switched to spot metering, things got better.
Was using the 1993-1997 80-200 ƒ2.8.....
