Boston Museum of Science. They have a traveling exhibit of STEM Pop Culture items called Popology. I have more good stuff just needing post process. The HAL display was very neat up close, it even spoke some of the lines from 2001.As a person named Dave, I get a lot of kick out of this.

I understand that the HAL 9000 'user interface' was centred around a Nikkor 8mm fisheye lens, but I don't know what caused the steady red glow. Was it something as simple as a torch bulb shining through a piece of red filter ?
I love the film, but it's not one I want to sit through too often. Once every fifteen years or so is plenty.
