Since we're heading into December I've chosen "Peace". This is the season for peace and goodwill and so the challenge is to enter a photo of anything that represents peace and tranquility for you. It could be a glass of whisky or a scenic view but it will hopefully convey a feeling of calm! If we have had this one before then please correct me. The challenge lasts for two weeks and will finish on 13th December.

I'll start, but I reserve the chance to replace. I am on the search for peace in many aspects in the next few days!

Fila was my son-in-law's grandmother. She came to Australia from Croatia to spend the last year's of her life here.
Fila spoke no English but communicated her love of family very strongly.

well, Bill.....I have to say that one knocked me sideways. Very powerful sense of peace, wonderfully crafted.

And.... the winner is Bill of bilzmale. His image was the epitome of eternal peace and the rosary placed in her hands lent a religious aspect appropriate to the season. Well done :)

Donlaw's glorious display of Magnolia blossoms was sublime and I can imagine the scent wafting over me!

The golden light on Pete's gulls gave an ethereal feeling and Kyteflyer's cool blue views of the beach and the birds also summon up that feeling of calm.

I like the window display in Steve's picture, cool drink and a sun hat just the thing for a restful afternoon :)

rayvonn's birds somehow made me think of Winston Churchill's famous "V" sign, now the sign for peace ;)

Luke and Serhan's animals... well I think we always feel good when our animals are happy and these so obviously are. They say that it's beneficial health wise to love and care for your animals and I'll second that!

Covey, your peace and goodwill nativity display really brings to mind the Christmas story, one that is repeated each year to remind us of what really matters.

Thank you all for your participation and I will hand over to Bill for the next challenge if I may :)
