Well done portraits, and a beautiful ("Bonita," as I am learning here in CR) young woman. Your daughter, perhaps? Very well executed work and it shows off the GXR 50mm which I am also using with pleasure.

Very nice! Beautiful photographs (very pretty young woman as well) and I really like the way you're using that Polaroid filter. Are you combining it with any others, or is it pretty much just the polaroid one?

Lovely, Christina. You've become the master/mistress of the "polaroid" effect, and you couldn't have chosen a more compelling subject for your portraiture.

Dan - a great portrait showing this teacher in her element! Super OOC, too!

I haven't been able to integrate the plug in with LR very well, my old Mac probably. Consequently I daren't use the zoom function because it then won't unzoom from 300%! A lot of my pp is a bit of guesswork  I'm experimenting with decreasing the "smear" slider sometimes up to 50 or 60% depending on what the subject is. I really like this software and would hope that when I upgrade my computer later this year, the programme will integrate successfully.

Dan, lovely portrait. I think the Ricoh colours are really nice and I find I don't always need to sharpen.

Dave, as you can see the class meets outside. The weather here lends itself to outside activity and there is a lot of it. Our group of 16 students and faculty is divided into three Spanish classes at different levels. The group of five taught by this lovely, and very patient, woman is what we in the class affectionately call the Kindergarden group. We have Geckos in the beams above us, and Mangos falling off trees all around. And we have a lot of fun. We North Americans occasionally teach the teacher a thing or to about English in the process. Adios!

Wow stunning set Christina, I love the very cool, almost pop arty/cartoony lok you've got in the photos. I've got colour efex too, but have been a little lazy with it
