Best photography book?

I've been browsing the web and amazon but I still cannot make up my mind about which book to get. What I'm looking for is a compilation of the the best photos made by the greatest digital photographers of our age accompanied by the photo it self and an explanation of how it was made, mentioning equipment, technical data, lighting, etc. My photography is all done with natural or ambient light, so even though I won't mind samples of studio photography I'd prefer a closer approach to natural/ambient light.

thanks

Rafa

It's both, though they are all currently active photographers - each writes a brief piece about his/her own photo. I'm not sure what the breakdown is between digital/film.

Yeah this is good book but there are many other photography books for the photogrpahers in which all the new and latest tricks of photography is mentioned and very informative for the professional photographers specially for those who are becoming new photographers...

Gordon Laing's , In Camera, has the elements for which you are looking. He shoots JPEG only.
The Kindle US version is just $3.99, I may need to pick this up for some weekend reading. :)
