I entered the Leica Oskar Barnack competition

Jock, good for you! Show's you how much I know...I'd assumed one had to have taken the photos with a Leica to enter the competition. I am particularly taken with your fall scene...with the lake - simply glorious colors and what a view. Please keep us posted on the competition's outcome and good for you for entering!

Thanks for the kind words. It was clear once you got into the application process that you didn't have to use a Leica to take the pix. I had to ask if I qualified to enter because I am a fulltime writer who takes photos sometimes to illustrate my stories. Leica's communications department said it would be OK if I enter.
