I collected my 25mm f1.4 last weekend and wanted to try it today and see how the bokeh is wide open, very pleased with it.

The images of the flowers were taken when they were moving in the breeze and light was not great, still pleased with them and the one of the taps is nice with good bokeh across all 3.

She's a beauty aint she Ian? I am totally smitten with mine - I'd call her a princess but she's too often out front doing all the hard yakka (work) while the common ol' 14mm snoozes in the bag ;)

Very nice shots mate I hope you bond....these shots suggest you should (y).

It IS a great lens. The only problem with mine is that my Canon G1X arrived in the mail a few days after the 25mm did. I'm still very happy with the new 25mm but it has some very stiff competition for my affections...

Hi Nic,

Must be a hard decision for you but I am sure you will make the right one - Good luck.
