My wife and I went to one of the annual bank holiday "Flea Market" so I thought I would try the GX1+25mm on auto ISO.

Th images below are between 400 - 1000ISO and I am delighted with the quality of this combination and so small and easy to carry.

Thanks,

As the sensor is the same in both cameras I would expect both to produce similar results.

It is great to be able to use auto iso with the GX1 especially with the 25mm as it allows me to use the apertures I want and still get good quality.

It will be interesting to eventually find out if the sensor in the OMD is the same one but with Olympus software tweaks or if it is a brand new sensor from another source (so much speculation still but not hard facts), either way I would have thought that if the results are equal to / exceed those from the Pany sensor then most will be happy.

Ian, A question. I see your exposures are the same. The ISO changed according to the light. I know your using Auto ISO but in what mode? I like Auto ISO in M mode but the GX1 doesn't do that, or does it?

Looks like a good combo. Have fun with it.
