Last week we visited Krakow in Poland, staying for 6 days. It was all a bit of a rush and, if you have read my other thread, you will know that we enjoyed it so much we are going back in December. I took a lot of pictures while I was there. I wanted to share a few.

Very nice. What kind of PP do you apply? I'm trying to learn some techniques so I can experiment with B&W.

Hi Steve

I always shoot jpegs mostly in colour but sometimes in b&w. Although I am pondering shooting raw as part of the October challenge. This year I have mostly been processing my pics with snapseed on my iPad. I sometimes use other apps to vary the choice of borders and texture. Occasionally I use photoshop elements and silver efex 2, but I'm finding by the time I have processed my pics on the iPad and backed up to the computer I have lost interest in those shots and am already out shooting new ones.

Hi Gary

Krakow wasn't expensive, we could fly from Edinburgh, we hadn't been before and the weather forecast was better than here in Scotland. It was a last minute thing really. If the weather had been better in Scotland that week we'd have been flying kites on a deserted beach somewhere on the Western Isles.

We both enjoyed it though, lots to see and do, so we are going back in December when the Christmas markets are in full swing to see some of the things we missed.
