Sony Goofy RX100 watercolor filter

Hall of Famer
Having fun with the water color filter in the fall light. (I think #2 is the "line drawing" filter instead of watercolor)

I mostly hate 'em and haven't used them since the first couple of weeks I had the camera, but I did play around with them just a bit. I don't remember if this was "watercolor" or "illustration" mode....

That's "Illustration" -- illustration has the black pen strokes, watercolor is without. Frankly, I think that might be the only difference, lol.

For a very colorful scene, watercolor makes it almost impressionistic. Much like early Panasonic cameras did with NR at high ISO :D

#5 with the dog in the forground looks really good. In general I try to stay clear of these modes but on occasion it seems to be worthwhile. Can you combine them with raw, so that I still have the original image?

Nope. Most, if not all, of the various creative options available in jpeg are not available when shooting raw+jpeg.

You can though, shoot RAW+JPG and then after the fact (which is where I play with it) use Watercolor and Illustration while in viewer mode. Menu - Img View tab #2 - Picture Effect
