Hi guys! I'm a newbie here and in the rx100 world..
Has anyone of you found a raw editor actually capable of reading rx100v's raw files?
I can't believe not even phase one is able to open them...

p.s. I'm sorry for my english but I'm Italian and it's been a while since my last conversation in english, so it may be a little rusty

Recent convert to RawTherapee...
...OK the learning curve is some ways steeper than Lightroom, but it really lays bare how much control you actually have when dealing with RAW files.

nevermind I'm selling the camera already! Thank you anyway!
Going back to dslrs

Looking at the time of your original post, and this one, you seem to have moved from wanting to open the RX100 Mk5's Raw files, to deciding to sell it - within about two hours! I would respectfully suggest that you probably haven't given the camera a fair crack of the whip. When I got my RX100 (original) four years ago, I found it difficult to get accustomed to its UI. However, I kept it, and after a few weeks, it became (and still is) a firm favourite. And if you're selling it only because of difficulties with software for Raw files, I think you're being a little hasty.

I agree with stillshunter... Rawtherapee would be an excellent solution. Also, have you actually tried the software that comes with the camera - Sony's own Image Data Converter? I must admit that I don't like it much, but it will (obviously;)) handle the Raw files. If, for some reason, your camera came without the IDC software, then it can be downloaded from Sony's website.
