Fuji meeting at the coffee shop

I'm the Jim in the last of Luke's photos and I'm not sure if the look is indicative of indecision regarding skim or half and half, or I just needed another coffee. Or maybe I was having a hard time parting with a camera I really enjoyed over the past months. Then again, the blood money will be...

Fuji Is everyone loving their X-Pro1...cos I'm not!

+1 And if you add the grip, to me at least it's one of the most comfortable cameras to hold, size, weight, and form.

Fuji Nice X-Pro1 set from Cuba

Thanks for a fascinating set of photos. Nice mix, with the obligatory '50s cars, interesting characters and perspectives, silhouettes at the Malecon, pastel colors contrasting with urban decay, etc. I've been wanting to go for some time. I guess there's enough there that I won't have to worry...

Brings back memories. Best custard in southern Milwaukee County! (I'm not sure how many outside Wisconsin have indulged in the pleasure of real, cheesehead frozen custard.) Intense color, nice contrast. How's that new Oly working out?

Fuji Size comparison: X-Pro1 vs OM-D vs GH2

Ian, If you need a little encouragement, I recently sold my D700 and some lenses and bought the X-Pro1 and all three lenses. While initially I was worried about giving up that FF sensor, I don't regret the exchange at all. I wanted to make sure I maximized my return on the D700 (prices did drop...

First try with my new NEX 5N

Pim, These are absolutely terrific! You've tried a little bit of everything - tonal contrast/DR, varied perspectives, simple yet rustically elegant subject matter, wonderful form and textural contrasts. You've made that little powerhouse of a 5N (and with the kit zoom, no less) sing. Well Done...

    Ricoh Ricoh GV-1 Viewfinder

I use the GV-2 50-75% of the time for for the usual reasons (support, too bright for viewfinder) and find it a pleasure to use. Frame lines are accurate and bright. When I want to be less conspicuous on the street, I take it off. A little pricey but a nice accessory to have.

Fuji Tech Aspects Of The X10 Sensor

Not sure how much this adds to the great detective work done by Flysurfer, Ray and others on EXR settings, but this article dated 11/19 on dpreview.com explains how the EXR system works and offers suggestions for optimizing performance of the x10. Hope you x10ers find it useful. Fuji X10 EXR...

Ray, I'm just curious. You seem to do a lot (most?) of your street shooting with the GRDIII, so you're very accustomed to that 28mm focal length. Now that you have a zoom available on the X10, you have choices. Do you find yourself utilizing a greater variety of focal lengths because they're...
