    Fuji Inconsistent Aperture

And the camera is back this morning. Looks healthy, at least for now. One funny thing I noticed: I put back the SD card I took out before sending the camera, and the playback display showed this gift-box icon. Had to look up the manual - this is the "gift picture" icon, which means the pictures...

Fuji What happened to the X100?

I actually dived into this forum just about the time I was getting one (even though I knew of its existence before my X100 days). It was the first "new" camera I bought in very long time (well, except Sigma DP-1 I got for my wife a few years ago). I had bought an already a bit old and used Ricoh...

    Fuji Inconsistent Aperture

I have yet to send my camera to Fuji but the problem worsened significantly - now the aperture blades almost consistently refuse to close at all. The only way to get a relatively correct exposure in A mode is to use ISO 1600 and f2.0. Anything else and everything is blown up. What is really...

Sigh. After spending several days too excited to be suspicious of anything, I checked mine and I think mine is plagued as well. Tested multiple shots at f16 and they show visibly different exposures. Wrote to Fuji UK.

Hehe, it was a significant financial investment for me and I admit I thought about trying it out and then selling it right away if it does not feel right. Turns out it felt quite right. Sigh, I can always save somewhere else I guess. Thank you for your kind words, BB.
