    Panasonic FZ200 Image Thread

In trying out the 'hand-held night shot" mode on the FZ200 I was pleasantly surprised how good the images turned out to be. Here's a couple from my recent trip to Malacca, Malaysia. No tripod used.

Great images! Keep them coming! Had a great time at a Peranakan Day which featured some of the dying craft of the Peranakans, a minority group facing almost extinction in South-east Asia through cross-cultural marriages, younger ones not bothering to perpetuate the culture. Here's a link on...

This green snake, about 1.5 meters long, was gliding so fast among the branches that capturing it would have been almost impossible were it not for the FZ200's ability to capture five frames per second.

    1. Yes, G'kar sort of grows on you as you watch the unfolding episodes. He has an upright character despite his fearsome looks. Fan of Star Trek also? 2. A friend has the Canon and he seems pleased by the results. I am a Panasonic diehard... love their cameras for their user-friendly buttons...

Thanks, Sue. Yep, I am a Babylon 5 fan and have seen all the episodes. The FZ200 is a wonderful camera and the 2.8 lens is a real bonus for lowlight shooting. Will post more photos soon.

I do believe there is no image thread featuring the Panasonic FZ200, so I am starting one in the hope that members who own this little beauty will contribute their photos here. If there is already an existing thread, I do apologise for having missed it, and please point me to it and delete this...

You bet! I have seen all the episodes in the series. G'kar is my favourite character as I feel he is trustworthy and honourable as opposed to Londo
