Just got an variable nd filter with the rotating adjustment to nd 8. When at its darkest adjustment my x100 forms a dark x shape throughout the entire image (during daylight at beach). Any ideas on why? Am I forgetting something?

Hi all I've gotten an adapter ring so that I can get a uv filter on. It comes with lens hood which once filter is on cannot be fitted. Also once adapter and filter are on the lens cap is practically useless. Any ideas on a fix or a better way?

Anybody know of any comparable and free apps for mac that will read the .raf file. I cant get Gimp to work?
