Hi Wolf,
AF Speed - as compared to what ? I have the X-E1 with both the 35mm and 18-55mm lenses, neither of these two combos are particularly fast in the AF dept if you ask me. I would not recommend either for high speed sport. I used to have the Nikon D2HS and alot of f/2.8 glass - now that...
Hi,
Seems like no one else is posting images here (does'nt anone else have a camera ? )
All with the X-E1 and 18-55mm lens, some assorted pictures from a scooter ride I took up the coast north of Sydney, Australia this morning. Remember it's summer here and it was about midday -...
Hi Paul,
I brought it in a local camera supplier here in Sydney, Australia. I've sent you a PM with details.
Ask all you want too, I don't mind answering any questions you have about it

I think you might be right . . . . have re-checked manual and there's no mention of it. Darn !
I wish there was a way to set Aspect ratio (1:1, 3:2 etc) in Custom Settings :frown:
What would be good, is if in each CS (Custom Setting) all options can be defined and saved (not just some as...
Is there a way to give a Custom setting a name (rather than the standard convention of Custom1, Custom 2 . . . )
I've hunted around looking for a way but can't seem to find it.

The grip has a "twist style" screw mount that is easy to lift up and unscrew to remove.

Hi
I just purchased the HG-XE1 Hand Grip for my X-E1 on a spur of the moment buy. I'm really liking it more and more and am pleased I got it now
It adds a bit more height to the X-E1 body but more importantly adds better ergonomics to hold the camera body. I do find it's easier...
Thanks guys.
I forgot to add details of the pics. All done with the X-E1 and 35mm f/1.4 shot in 1x1 aspect ratio (I knew in advance I was going to create "polaroid" type images)
PP'ed in PS to apply various actiona and downsize image size to 400px then framed to create polaroid look.
Pity...
On the 14mm, the mechanism to switch it to manual focus is a bit left-field I reckon.
The M focusing mode on the camera body has always been the way to switch - why specifically have they employed this new method on this particular lens ?
