Without the firmware update the Nissin i40 will not work at all on the XT2 except for giving out a small weak flash that will not light up anything, I found this out at my first XT2 wedding and had to revert to my manual Yonguo flashes.
Is there a way of setting up the XT2 VF to show blinkies during the review.
It seems to show it along with the histogram view when you have playback set this way, but I am looking for full screen instant review after the shutter button has been fired.
Thanks Phil

It was the non APD, I found it pretty sluggish which surprised me, I ended up getting the 16/1.4 the 35/2 and the 50/140, I am going to add the 90 more than likely as I love the bokeh on that. So with an XT1 and 2 X-Pro-2's I am good to go for this years weddings

Seriously impressed
I currently shoot weddings with 2 A7RII's
The X-PRO-2 has Lightening quick operation, I tried it with the 14, 16, 23, 35, 56, and 50/140
Impressive focus speeds with the exception of the 56 which I found a bit sluggish. Loved the focus adjust joystick, nice EVF, not quite...
Agreed, GX7 is a great camera, I used one for a week and loved it. The only reason I got the Gh3 was the GX7 did not have a mic input and I shoot some Video and need that
Thanks John
Histogram in EVF now sorted.
What I am now trying to achieve is having blinkies and histogram in review mode not to be confused with playback, I am not sure this is possibe.
So I have set review hold to on, then when I take a shot the screen holds until another button is pressed...
Thanks John
Firstly I was hoping that you could display the live histogram in the EVF which does not seem possible
Secondly, once a shot has been taken, I would like the preview on the LCD to show the Histogram
and blinkies view which it does not appear to do, in order to see that view you have...
Thanks
I have this set up already. What this doesn't do is give you the blinkies and histogram view, it just shows a review of the exposure, to get the histogram and over exposure warnings it looks like you have to press play
I found thee XE2 quite easy to learn my way around, I have however a few questions.
After taking a picture I like to be able to view the exposure blinks (if any), on the XE2 it does not appear to give you this option unless you press play.
On my Panasonics and Oly's this shows immediately...
The EM1 is an amazingly fast and slick Camera, very nice quality and feels better made than the XE2 IMO. AF is blistering fast, great jpegs although I am a RAW shooter. However, and this was the deciding factor, I just couldn't get to grips with the handling, menus etc. Every time I picked it...
Well I almost bought the XE1 but ended up with an EM5, didn't get on with that then got a GH3, really like this and have been doing
some Video stuff with it.
As a second body I bought an EM1, and still haven't gelled with Olympus handing, ergonomics and menu system.
So today I pulled the...
Okay interesting thread but I am confused here so can anybody help me out. I am definately missing the plt
I'll use my LX7 as an example
On DOF master I inputted Camera (used LX5 as LX7 does not appear to be listed
Focal length 35 mm (I presume I set it at 35mm equivalent
selected F stop F4...
Lol, small world, I lived on the Tile Kiln estate joining Moulsham Lodge, my daughter now lives in my old house on Linnet drive. I went to Gt Baddow Comp, both my kids to Moulsham
I really like this image, I would consider it street Portraiture, I wouldn't have chosen to process it this way, however I feel this works
Phil
1. Is it worthy enough to be added to a portfolio?
2. Is this considered a portrait? Or an environmental shot which happens to have a person in...
Hi everyone, first post to introduce myself.
I don't own a Fuji yet I currently downgraded from Nikon full frame and use M/43
I recently looked at an XE-1 and was really taken by the overall feel.
Not yet decided which Fuji I will own so will be asking a few questions shortly
I chose an LX7, and I am really happy with it. It's not quite shirt Pocketable but it will sit comfortably in my fleece or I keep it in a small pouch with the LVF2. I have added the lens cap that opens when you switch it on so it can be ready to shoot the moment you switch it on.
Very fast...
Both of course lol, nothing better than going for a ride on the bike with Camera in pocket, taking in the English countryside and stopping off and having a totally unhealthy English Breakfast.
