Fuji X100f digital teleconverter work with TCL-X100?

^ a little out of the way for me. I'd have to cross over the pond for that. ^ sweet! I'll be going over to B&H later today to pick up a coupler. and good idea on the cheap filters - I guess my 49mm lens caps I've been using for the rears won't work here. thanks.

Fuji X100f digital teleconverter work with TCL-X100?

is that the WCL and TCL attached together? if so, more info, please! the other week while walking around, I had imaged it would be cool if there was some sort of threaded barrel that would allow both the WCL and TCL to attach to at the same time. I've seen some in the past, but for bayonet-type...

maybe slower on the X-E1. but the X-E2 (introduced with PDAF like x100s) will be getting the X-T1/0 AF FW towards the end of the year anyway. on my X-T1 in sufficient light, when using only the PDAF points in either Single Point or Zone AF modes, the 35mm doesn't seem to rack back and forth as...

Micro 4/3 GX8 announced. 20.3mp, DFD, 4k video, IBIS works with lens stabilization, dust/water resistant.

^ I think Sony would be joining their own party loll. that reminds me of something Philip Bloom said in his rather excellent review on the Sony FS7 - he says something about Sony taking on the competition by bringing something incredibly aggressive into the marketplace, though they're only...

Micro 4/3 GX8 announced. 20.3mp, DFD, 4k video, IBIS works with lens stabilization, dust/water resistant.

^ no clue. that would be hard to say since there was nothing over 16mp to compare with. but it being their high-end camera, i'm sure lots of fashion and portrait folks will appreciate it, and pretty much those that want to print a little larger maybe? ^ though the sensor is a 4:3 ratio, the...

I prefer tilt over vari-angle as well especially for street photography. I guess video users will benefit more from the vari-angle OLED. you can change your ratio to 3:2 - that's how I shoot with my GX7 (16mp to 14mp). you'll lose some pixels, but at least you'll have 20mp to start from.

    Fuji Flash

right? i'm even considering the V6, myself. sometime last year, i read rumours about being able to do this with future Fuji bodies (particularly the X-Pro successor) as there will be a transmitter built in and a future flash with a built-in receiver. probably far-fetched for Fuji though. loll

    Fuji Flash

i say try the Stratos II transmitter + receiver and a Yongnuo 560 IV. that's $159.79. if you go through Amazon where Amazon is the seller and should you decide to return it for a refund, Amazon provides a free UPS return label. as soon as UPS scans it when you drop it off, the refund happens...

    Fuji Flash

ohh.. it was only with the dumb Yongnuo transceivers (as opposed to their smart tranceiver) that i kept having issues with. but their flashes have been solid, still. the Phottix Strato II transmitter & receivers i've been using have been solid as well. they do add functionality to control...

    Oh, SNAP!

i like that bit from Arik Brauer. and i've got an OM10 lying around somewhere. i always thought the E-M5 had focus peaking. i could be wrong. my GX7 delivered a day early. focus peaking seems much better on it than with the Fujis. i forgot what it was like working around a mode dial. i'll...

    Oh, SNAP!

i used to have the nex-7 when it first came out, then also picked up the em5 shortly after to trial alongside the nex-7. the em5 was nice, but i just was not liking the output of the RAWs as much as i loved the RAWs coming from the sony sensor. also, i just didn't like the pseudo-pentaprism hump...

haha.. i won't say, that's what she said. and yes. it's the Program. i do have an AE-1 somewhere though. i would prefer the A-1 with it's A Priority mode, but i don't want to spend any money on an SLR body if i were buying film. i just looove rangefinder bodies! the 28mm Voigt is still on trial...

    Oh, SNAP!

here're a few pics with the lens on... after mounting the lens, you get a real idea of just how much heft there is in the lens. it's quite front-heavy. and even with the RRS L-plate + grip (which i always thought added a nice heft and feel to the body) and ef-x20 flash, it's still a bit...

    Oh, SNAP!

the OIS is something else. i think the 70-200 f2,8L gives something like 3 stops. i'm not a zoom person at all. i originally wanted the 16-55. but the 50-140 gives me the variable reach to subjects i can't actually trek to. plus, i love the compression this range gives. my current primes (14 to...

ahh.. you have an oly system, too? in Fuji news, i've got this back-and-forth email with RRS, again. this time for the 50-140. they should make a new foot with the arca swiss-style dovetail thingamajig thingy. one that doesn't obstruct your hand from being able to actually hold the battery grip.
