The lens is indeed good. It is very worthwhile getting a filter converter to 67mm. I did this, got a 67mm lens cap, and I'm running a 67mm B+W nano CP filter. It has only very slight vignetting in the corners. Very usable. Have not tried a single glass filter yet.

Yes, I managed to get my gh3 (hood) locally, cheaper than Japan, but the wide adaptor is very rare. B&H will stock it shortly, but you can't beat free shipping, so Japan got the sale in that case.
