Shot an engagement shoot - weight is about the same as my G9 with battery grip. Size is similar which when I'm doing paid work shoots is my sweet spot! For larger lenses I love this working with the Fuji 80mm, 90mm and 50-140mm. No real complaints so far. I think the camera is badly represented...

Great portraiture work here and also on mu-43 forum. I find that forum display limitations can sometimes mean that images are downsampled and appear 'softer'. This isn't necessarily a reflection of the camera but a need to ensure that pages load fast and can display reasonably on mobile device.

Thanks guys. It's a lovely lens and surprisingly sharp from wide open across the focal range. I've taken it now for field work shooting Rodeos to surfing in Hawaii and the lens hasn't missed a beat on the XT2 with boost grip.

Fuji don't really make a bad lens - many are exceptional, some are spectacular. This is one of the spectacular ones. I was fortunate enough to pick one up second hand. 400 bucks off of new price!

What is the general concensus on this lens with the XPro2 / XT2 in CDAF mode. I'm interested in the APD variant and I'm aware that both XPro2 and XT2 are already pretty quick even in contrast detect only mode once the motors in the lens can keep up. I know the 56 1.2 already has average focus...
