Great shots, I have wanted an ir converted camera for some time now , I finally broke down and picked up a 720nm conversion which will offer me the ability to shoot some false colour ir as well. Sadly it's arrived along with winter so ir opportunity is limited for now .

I've only been using fuji for under 2 months , a Friend in Ottawa was swayed by my comments and the flickr feed and went out and bought an XT1 w/ 18-135 and 35 1.4. He's a longtime Leica and Nikon guy.

very nice (maybe a bit pricey when you already own a good chunk of the kit) be really nice to have the bag though :)

Updated both last night I like the metering tied to the af point very cool and classic chrome is great lots of new features - at least on the XT1 (not all of which i'll use)

I pretty much agree with all of them ( i was a little disconcerted going from having SR on everything (Pentax) to the Fuji where I only have it on 2 entry level zooms for my wife) I'm practicing old habits and finding i can get pretty low hand held ( quite low indeed on the 18) and art filters...

I tried the 18-55 on the xe1 it is very good as kit zooms go probably the best out there. I'm just not a zoom guy

I agree, I shot an nikkor 85 1.8 h and a nikkor 105 2.5p on a nikon f2 back in the late 70s and if i missed focus it wasn't the recompose that did it, it may have been rushing a shot and just missing the focus on fast moving (live music) or other poor technique errors but theproper recompose...
