Fuji Fuji X-Pro2 FF rumor thoughts

If the lenses have to be larger to work FF and still maintain AF, what happens to the finder being blocked? The M's have smaller lenses so FF was never an issue with finder blockage. A slight amount but not an intrusion. If a FF XP2 gets borne, the lenses will be the hardest part of the design...

    Street Portraits in Toronto

Ya did real well. The thing with photos, especially portraits is to let the viewer get into the image without interference from the title and or subject matter. That way the viewer gets the message you intended and they can discover things in their own way and pace. That first portrait is a real...

Ray, thanks for this and especially the note on Flickr. Maybe I'll meet up with you when you get yours to check it out. Rico, I have a question. I bought the iBook version. At this point my tired old eyes can't read to where it's close to enjoyable. I thought it would turn into a PDF and I could read it but nope.... Is there a way to get this on my Mac or PC desktop? Thanks in advance.....don

Fuji X-E1 has no focus peaking n the EVF? Is there a setting I'm missing?

That's an interesting thing you mentioned about the color. I certainly find Yellow Low in the Nex6 to work in all situations. What's interesting is that I studied the color choice as far as how they worked and how I worked them. I came to the conclusion that the choice of color will effect the...

Fuji X-E1 has no focus peaking n the EVF? Is there a setting I'm missing?

John, another thing to consider and Fuji hasn't really....the absence of the AA filter. This creates heavy contrast...well, I prefer accutance from the film days. When the peaking is on LOW....and my screen is B&W...I see this really over sharpened image on the screen. If I let go of the 1/2...

Fuji X-E1 has no focus peaking n the EVF? Is there a setting I'm missing?

Well John, my eyes aren't so young either. I did another test this afternoon just to make sure that what I stated was correct. With the Nex6 and LOW Yellow peaking, it's almost never needed to use the finder. It focuses 99.9% accurate and fast. The Finder works better on LOW peaking but it's...

Fuji X-E1 has no focus peaking n the EVF? Is there a setting I'm missing?

John, maybe you could try putting the screen to B&W. This creates better contrast and it is somewhat easier. I wish they put yellow in like the Nex6..... It's also an issue of scale. The screen is much larger so the peaking is not as compressed as on the finder.

    Sony Nex 6

Actually the Nex 6 has a lot to offer. I use legacy glass most of the time and its extremely efficient to work. The Sigma 19 & 30 should be against the law they are so good. The camera is very easy to setup and easy to find what you want it to do. My friend sent me an M240 but I don't like...

    Fuji dpreview: X20?

I'm not a big DPR fan but they did this review rather well. Let's remember that when they post a review, it's looking at the camera as more of a tool. They get to the nuts and bolts and that's what they should do. The creative aspects of using the camera is really up to the shooter. They did...

Bill, seems to me a logical move from the X100 to the XE1. The advantage of lenses.... Going the other way seems illogical. I had the X100 and liked it till I used my friends Leica's. Man Bill.....the X20 is a great camera.....
