$19 Holga lens on GH1.

    This plastic lens has a 25mm focal length and zone focusing and reproduces the look of the still available Holga (and Lomo and Diana) toy cameras. Metering was on A mode and exposure was set by camera (although Manual was recommended). The softness and vignette is part of the "charm" and this is a digital version of the film technique called Lomography.

    Bill, I like this look. I know, in the past, here and elsewhere we've had some heated discussions about the merits or not of this kind of lens and style... However, I think it can bring about some cool, dream like images and I'm looking forward to more! Sometimes seeing what parameters one can push can lead us to think and see beyond what's right there.

    Every 'type' of image has it's place. It looks fun to use and nice to see something a little different.
