    The 1600E (and the 2000E Mk3) were considered exec cars. I had the 2000E Mk3 with velour seats (electric shocks galore) and a bonnet/hood like the landing deck of the Ark Royal.

    That's a pretty truck (and that's a rare thing)!

    The Ford Cortina mostly reminds me of a song by the Arctic Monkeys which I rather like:

    In the words of the great Ian Dury taken from the song Billericay Dickie, Cortinas were never the same after hearing this.
