This seems to work pretty well.
I took two strips of industrial sticky-back velcro that I got from Walmart, put them together with the sticky side, and then trimmed them to about .2" (just shy of about 1/4")
They cover the EVF and the shoe.
I put the fuzzy side in towards the camera and wrapped it around nice and tight, and then trimmed it.
I couldn't pull the EVF off the camera and it doesn't look THAT bad....
