What will you be using the PL 25 with? Is it a m4/3 camera? If yes, please post some images. Also would like to know how good (or bad) the auto focus is with a m4/3 body.

    Congrats on the new toy!

    Hi Armanius
I will use it on my old L1 and with adaptor on Oly E-P2/E-PL1 and Panasonic G1/GF1.
AF on the L1 will be good as far as m43 probably Ok but then I used to the dog slow 12-60SWD on the Pens so slow AF is not a worry
I will let you know my observation's as for images well weather is set to be sunny rest of the week
The lens is in transit should be here tomorrow :)

    Thanks Boyzo.

I'd read somewhere that the PL25's AF speed is actually decent in a m4/3 body. But don't recall where I read that. If the AF speed on the PL25 is good on a m4/3, the PL25 would likely be the best lens for m4/3 cameras with good AF speed. I have tried the 12-60 on my GH2 as well, and it's super super slow. Same thing with the Oly 50/2.

How's that 25/1.4? I'm excited!! Vicariously anyway! Hopefully, it will AF quickly on at least one out of the four M4/3 cameras you have!

    Armanius Hi
On the venerable old Pany L1 AF is FAST
    On
The G1/GF1 --- E-P2/E-PL1 slower a little hunting before AF lock Ok stills landscapes
Street Shooting can't say not tried that YET (talking M43 here) could be ok but I sense the slower AF a little bit of a minus would depend on the subject (people) static or moving well you would know what I mean you take lots of People shots

    Cheers
