Nic - if you are referring to mine

mine is a "cheat" in that is a Nikon D300 with the 70 300 VR zoom - I was probably looking in the air for Gulls at the time!!!

LR 4 has also helped

you have me there! - it could be. I will have to check the original file. I sometimes do dial in the in camera filters just for the fun of it.
I can't recall with this image if I did it. I'll check the image when I get home.

BillN - the drama is in the differences of the light.
